England - North York Moors to Scarborough

It is said that Bram Stoker spent a holiday in Whitby, beside the North Sea, in 1890. He was so inspired by Whitby Abbey’s gothic ruins, along with Whitby's historic church and its tombstones, that they influenced his work when he wrote 'Dracula'.
